Menacing Chirp, opening for DOA
I’m currently birdsitting, and I’ll be honest - it’s making me nervous.
Because of my allergies, I’ve never been able to have a “real” pet. My only alternative are things like fish, hamsters, and birds. While they’re swell and all, I don’t really like delicate, wriggly little things. They aren’t good for cuddling and they make me nervous.
I think the ones I’m minding for the weekend are sensing my nervousness. The male one sat on my shoulder yesterday, but today he seems distant. I’m supposed to let them out of their cage and keep them company for a couple hours each day. I feel like I should pet them like Kiri does, but, well, they freak me out.
Also, I think I may be allergic. I’ve been coughing a lot the past day.
In other news, I’ve decided to stay in today. I’ve had so much going on, have been so busy lately, it’s not helping me to relax. I want to relax before I start my rockin’ new job on Monday.
So, I’ve got a bunch of movies, including most of season four of Penn & Teller’s Bullshit!
