Staycation - Day Four

It’s really hot. It’s getting unpleasant.

Was up quite late last night. Watched some okay movies, then spent many hours playing the uke. That was nice.

Had some more coughing, so felt scared that I’m not getting better. But I think I am.

Today, if all goes according to plan, will be out and about w/ Mel.

Did indeed spend the day w/ Mel. Got some more space pen refills, had Indian food, saw The Happening. It was okay, but was by far my least favorite of M. Night Shyamalan’s films. Mel and I discussed it and agree our favorites are The Sixth Sense and The Village, in that order. You?

Agree with Afton. Don’t have a relevant comment in re: Shyamalan b/c I haven’t seen the last two, but honestly, I wasn’t impressed with ‘6th Sense’. It did inspire an oft-quoted joke around our office, though: “I see stupid people. Walking around like regular people. They don’t know they’re fucktards.”
