Staycation - Day Two
Walked to the Farmers’ Market. Saw a friend - we made plans to hook up later.
I bought a new bag, two pairs of beautiful earrings, cherries, and three cupcakes. Then checked out the new Sobey’s, then went to Save-On for the non-food items Sobey’s didn’t have.
By the time I got home, I was exhausted and could barely speak. Canceled plans w/ the friend. Was feeling a melancholy growing all day, but once I got home and resigned myself to a day of rest and solitude, felt better.
It’s Africa-hot today.
I want to buy a new ukulele. An expensive one.
My voice is almost completely gone today and it’s breaking my heart.
Watched the Iceland concert, but missed Sigur Ros. Boo.
