Staycation - Day Four

It’s really hot. It’s getting unpleasant.
Was up quite late last night. Watched some okay movies, then spent many hours playing the uke. That was nice.
Had some more coughing, so felt scared that I’m not getting better. But I think I am.
Today, if all goes according to plan, will be out and about w/ Mel.

I think I feel a little better than yesterday. I’m going to try to avoid using my voice as much as I can today, though.
Got bag lust last night while looking on Etsy. Today, ordered a pricey, but gorgeous handmade bag from the States. Now I have something to fantasize about ’till it arrives.

Walked to the Farmers’ Market. Saw a friend - we made plans to hook up later.
I bought a new bag, two pairs of beautiful earrings, cherries, and three cupcakes. Then checked out the new Sobey’s, then went to Save-On for the non-food items Sobey’s didn’t have.

A drink review

So, I tried it.
It smelled good and I enjoyed eating the ginger, but Coke w/out fizz is disgustingly sweet. Didn’t drink the whole thing, so can’t comment on its efficacy.
Drank some fizzy Coke w/ my chinese food, so have a bit of a headache now.  Twit.

Reading the Rolling Stone review for The Dark Knight is making me even more stoked to see it, and I didn’t think that was possible.
