Things I learned this weekend

- I love Calgary so much more than Deadmonton. However, it’s getting so expensive and so busy, I don’t know that I’d move back.
- There are two Nellie’s on 17th Avenue. If you see one and shriek, “There it is!” to your ride, calm down and get your bearings. Otherwise, you’ll be standing there for half an hour before realizing, hey, this is seventh street, not tenth. (The one in the picture is the one I was supposed to be at.)
- In related news, my friend Rachel is one of the sweetest, most patient people that ever was.
- If you forget to bring shampoo, sometimes you can use apricot facewash instead.
- I’ve lost 30 pounds.
- My cousin’s two little boys are so cute and so smart and so cuddly. Well, I forced them to be cuddly, but whatever.
- Their stomping and running around footsteps in the morning weren’t bothersome at all - in fact, I loved them.
- Coughing too much makes me feel like my eyes will end up permanently crossed.

Thanks!

I read about your new word. I’d love to hear you say it. Do you have Skype? Or iChat? Now that I’m all Mac’ed out, the world is my oyster.

Wow, I didn’t even do that on purpose. ;)

30 POUNDS? I am so proud of you. And jealous.

Thanks. Jealousy really cheers me up.

I’m not even kidding.
