Happy Hallowe’en!

I’m just going to wear skull earrings that light up, as I’m too poor right now to do much else in the dressing up department.

I look forward to seeing everyone’s Hallowe’en pics, though.

I’m pleased as punch about my new haircut (see pic in sidebar - thanks Ray), provided by Circus Mel. Is there anything she can’t do?

Before the haircut we made supper over at her place. Eggplant, tomatoes, zucchini, onion, spaghettis sauce, parmesan cheese and Reisling wine. It was yummy. And it felt lovely to be eating so healthy.

Today there’s a Hallowe’en potluck at work, I leave early to get an ultrasound, then do phones at CKUA, where I’ll get a free supper. W00t!

Sounds like a fun day! In two hours I’m taking the bananafish trick or treating.

Why are they called the BananaFish?

It comes from a JD Salinger story, but it would be easier if you had read it so I could explain the reason.

The goatee suits my face, but that’s the subject of some controversy.
