The Sadies & Greg Keelor
What an amazing show!
It took a couple of hours after the doors opened to get going. Andre Ethier started things off. He was enjoyable, but didn’t excite me terribly.
Then, The Sadies took the stage. Holy mother of pearl are they wicked. Alt country, insurgent country, surf garagey - freakin’ amazing. Tight and fun.
Guitarist and vocalist Dallas Good has a beautiful hangdog face I couldn’t stop taking pictures of. And the drummer! He looked like Adrien Brody, but slightly less so.
And when Greg Keelor took the stage - well, it was creamy knickers night, I’ll tell you what.
