Another day…another reason to eat a bullet

Had a long and detailed nightmare last night about the Show. For some reason, I was broadcasting from my teenage bedroom. Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant from The Office were there (and hey, in real life, they have a radio show!), screwing around and distracting me. I again, had no music queued and things were bad.

I’ve been really depressed (again). Just trying to get through the days, so not too ambitious.

Got $40 in the mail from Mum, which I desperately needed. But now, there’s a potluck at work right before payday, so I can’t even use it as I’d planned.

Make sure and tune into the Show tonight! Six o’clock, Mountain Standard Time, www.cjsr.com, or 88.5 FM in Edmonton.

I hate work social obligations related to work. It’s not that i don’t enjoy parties, I just don’t like to feel obligated to do anything after hours or that will cost money. Can you make something really, really cheap, like rice with peas or pasta with cheese? Golf sounds kind of boring. I’ve never played, just putt-putt.

And the assumption that you want to spend any more time than you already have to w/ people you would never hang out w/ if you weren’t obligated to.

I’ll probably make my cheese mush in bread thing. It’s actually good, in spite of how I just described it.

The reason I don’t particularly care for golf is because I suck at it and it’s expensive. When (if…) I visit my Dad in the summer, I’ll be happy to play w/ him, but that’s because I actually like spending time w/ my Dad.

I hate work social obligations too. Mainly because as much as I adore my boss, that’s how much I despise one of my co-workers so I never know how to behave. If I’m rude to her, well, that’s RUDE (gasp!), but I’m nice and all chit-chatty, then I feel hypocritical.

Better to be true to yourself. Not too true, though.
